Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffAugust 24, 2015Decades from now, it's possible no one will remember that the sticky note programs so common on computer desktops originated with actual sticky pieces of paper. Like other similar software, this download mimics the offline memory-jogging standby, simulating sticky notes that can be placed on the desktop containing short messages or reminders. We like the ability to set note priorities, so the most important reminders can always be on top. Users also can make the notes semitransparent and change their color at will. However, the program lacks several important features that rivals often provide. Notes don't have an associated alarm function that would help remind absent-minded users of their presence. The software allows only 10 notes to be kept at once, which can quickly become restrictive. Overall, the download scores points with basic functionality and a price tag of zero, but users who want a more powerful reminder system should look elsewhere.
