R6 Bill Tracker is a basic program that can help you remember when things are due, provided that you remember to use it.The program's interface is plain and easy to navigate, though it's not immediately clear how one is supposed to get started. It turns out that you have to go to the File menu and create a new file before you can do anything. This is kind of an awkward setup, though it does allow users to keep track of finances for multiple people or for personal and business purposes. Next, start entering your bills, selecting the payee, amount, description, and whether or not they're recurring. Once you have everything entered, the program displays a summary screen that shows the amounts past due, due in seven days, due in the current month, and the total amount due. Beneath the summary there's an itemized list of upcoming and past due bills; to mark one paid, simply click on it and enter the amount of the payment. Although the program has a Help menu, clicking on it takes users to a Web page with a 404 error. Still, the program is pretty easy to figure out without assistance, as long as you get past the first step. Unlike many such programs, it doesn't have a reminder feature, so you'll have to take an active role in remembering to look at it. Overall, there's nothing about R6 Bill Tracker that particularly impressed us; it works just fine, but none of its features are things we haven't seen many times before.R6 Bill Tracker installs a desktop icon without asking but uninstalls cleanly.
