Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffNovember 7, 2008Despite a few problems, the outstanding note-taking features send GoBinder to the top of its class. Installation was a mixed bag; you can choose the components, skipping the Palm version, for example. However, we had to install a patch and optimize the database before we could use the program. The Add New wizard crashed the program once, but proved to be the best way to add classes. When we added classes manually, a Tuesday-Thursday class session showed up on every day, despite it having all the correct information. The calendar uses the DD/MM/YYYY date format. On the positive side, the program handles class materials better than any other program we've seen. It imports Blackboard data for college courses, which is lovely. Even better, you can print from just about any application to the Agilix Binder printer to import your own documents. We were impressed by how easy the process was, and how faithful to the originals the GoBinder versions were. You can even doodle on and highlight areas of a document, just like a paper doc. The print version of annotated files shows your notes. The Notes section alone makes GoBinder worth any student's time.
